Reviews, ratings and directory corrections

Pathra wants Find Healthcare to become more useful over time. This notice explains what reviews and directory corrections mean, and how the current version of these features works.

This is a description of current practice, not legal advice.

How it works today

Important: in the current version, reviews and corrections are stored only in your browser. They are not currently sent to Pathra or published for other users to see.

About this notice

Pathra wants Find Healthcare to become more useful over time. This notice explains what reviews and directory corrections mean, and how the current version of these features works. It works alongside Pathra's Terms of Use, Privacy & Data Notice, and Directory / Provider Information Notice.

Reviews on Find Healthcare

A review is a personal account of someone's experience with a provider. In the current version, Find Healthcare lets you write a review and give a rating on your own device.

Corrections to directory information

A correction is a way to flag information that may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete — things like a provider's name, phone number, address, website, services, opening hours, facility type, operating status, or a possible duplicate listing. In the current version, Find Healthcare lets you note a correction on your own device.

What happens in the current V1

Your review or correction is currently saved on your device. It does not currently reach Pathra, enter a moderation queue, appear publicly, or automatically change a directory listing.

This is because the current version provides a local way to record a review or correction on your device — it does not currently send that information to Pathra. There is no live public review or correction-processing system in the current V1.

What reviews and ratings do not mean

  • A review is not a clinical assessment
  • A rating is not proof of provider quality, safety, or clinical care
  • A review is not professional accreditation or regulatory approval
  • A review does not mean Pathra endorses, certifies, approves, guarantees, or clinically recommends a provider
  • A negative experience isn't automatic proof a provider is unsafe or unsuitable for everyone

See the Healthcare / Medical Disclaimer for more on the boundary between Pathra's navigation role and clinical care.

What corrections do not mean

A correction is an indication from a user that information may need checking — it is not automatically a verified fact, and the current V1 form does not update Pathra's canonical directory. If Pathra introduces a production correction process, changes to the directory would go through an appropriate controlled review, not an automatic update from a single submission.

Responsible use

When using review or correction features, please don't:

  • harass or threaten anyone
  • impersonate another person or organisation
  • knowingly submit fabricated information
  • publish private personal information about someone else
  • make deliberately malicious submissions
  • use these features for unlawful activity

Please keep submissions factual and based on your own experience, and avoid allegations of criminal conduct, fraud, malpractice, or other serious wrongdoing without appropriate evidence.

Privacy and local storage

Review and correction information you enter is stored only in your browser, on your device. It isn't an online account, and it doesn't currently reach a Pathra server. We can't guarantee that local storage is completely secure, and it isn't automatically hidden from anyone else who has access to your device or browser. See Pathra's Privacy & Data Notice for more detail.

Future improvements

Pathra may introduce a production review and correction process in a future version. If that happens, the way information is collected, reviewed, and handled will be explained in the relevant Pathra notices, updated at that time.
